Jamieson gets sent to the Headmaster for fighting and swearing during a rugby match – a furious Headmaster decides to give him a good thrashing starting with OTK – followed by a plimsolling and a traditional tawsing with a three tailed tawse – Jamieson then finds himself on the wrong end of a Headmaster’s caning.
Harrison decides to go for a crafty cigarette after prep and before lights out – not realising that the Headmaster has decided to inspect his house – he gets caught and sent to the study……..where a phone call interrupts his caning leaving him all next day to contemplate what is going to happen later that evening.
After calling the Sports Master Mr. O’Connor a “bog trotter” Mataba finds himself in the Head’s study where the “Punishment fits the crime”.
Simmons get sent by his Housemaster to the Headmaster for throwing water around in the bathroom – since his behavior is what Junior Boys get up to the Headmaster decides that a good OTK and plimsolling will teach him a lesson before beating him, however the lights out bell rings and Simmons has to wait all the following day when he once again reports to the Head……..
Disregarding rules and warnings at Public Schools was not a sensible course of action, especially when your Housemaster was a firm believer in “Spare the rod – spoil the child”
Phillips and Simmons decide to have their own version of “Play Time” in Simmons’s study after light outs. They both quickly realise that pleasure can result in pain especially when the Headmaster is wielding not only one of his canes but also a traditional English Birch…..
At many Public Schools it was customary for the names of boys due for a caning to be read out at morning assembly along with the instruction to report to the Headmaster’s Study after assembly ….. the first in the queue gets the cane over his Y fronts and then on the bare…. The second who skipped a Latin lesson gets a traditional “6” whilst touching his toes….
Church gets sent to the Headmaster for ragging about in his dormitory and learns that it is not wise to disturb the Headmaster when he is relaxing, especially when he has a plimsoll to hand…….
Jamieson gets caught having a crafty cigarette by a Prefect who uses the nearest implement to hand to punish him – his belt, deciding that he deserves more the Headmaster agrees that the Prefect should give him a caning, but Jamieson also has to report back to the Headmaster later that evening for the final installment of his punishment……
Simmons reports to the Headmaster in order to carry out dormitory checks at Rodney House....
Phillips and Simons have been close friends during their time together at Boddington Manor School. Their housemaster who is away for the evening, never does evening checks, tonight however, the Headmaster who is a strict disciplinarian has decided to do a study check...
